(hereinafter referred to as "Gold Cup"), original aspiration means the pursuit of technology and quality.
 
Gold Cup has been operating as an operational entity for 20 years from a small factory with a registered capital of 3 million CNY to a large enterprise with an annual operating revenue of 8 billion CNY. Gold Cup has developed from an unknown single product manufacturer and supplier to a top 3 electromagnetic wires manufacturer in China. As a partner of Gold Cup Group for 19 years, Chen Haibing has done his utmost to stick to his original aspiration. 
Chen Haibing, majored in polymer materials, has been engaged in technical research and management in the field of electromagnetic wires since his graduation from university. In 2000, Chen Haibing was invited to Hunan Province to serve as Vice President of Gold Cup Electric Apparatus Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Gold Cup Electromagnetic Wires Co., Ltd.. Since then, the goal of competing for the gold cup has been being in the depth of his heart.

In the founding stage, Gold Cup mainly focused on the power transmission and transformation industry and the motor industry, and its products were relatively traditional. Chen Haibing increased investment in R&D, personally took charge of multiple projects, and continuously improved the level of intelligent production of the enterprise. Since 2009, he has served as an expert member of the Winding Wires Branch of the China’s National Standards Commission and the key person in charge of the electromagnetic wires project for China’s National UHV Power Transformation Engineering, participated in the drafting and preparation of a multitude of China’s national industry standards including GB/T 4074.21-2018 Winding Wires Test Methods - Part 21:Electrical Endurance under High Frequency Voltage Impulses and GB/T 33597-2017 Transposed Conductors, actively applied them in Gold Cup itself, and has been striving to become an industry benchmark.
 
In April 2018, Chen Haibing led the establishment of a post-doctoral research workstation with China’s famous Central South University, and the product process of PEEK electromagnetic wires to which workstation attached great importance will fill China’s domestic technical gap. He presided over more than 10 inventions and utility model patents including a rare earth element-containing aluminum alloy electromagnetic wires and preparation methods, a manufacturing method of screen-clipping combined transposed conductors, a paraffin coating device, and a continuously online semi-rigid control device of copper conductors for electromagnetic wires, and led by example in research and innovation.

Promoted by Chen Haibing, Gold Cuphas developed a total of 23 new products during the past 5 years, of which the 240-grade aromatic polyimide enamelled rectangular copper wires have reached the international advanced level, making the company the only China’s domestic manufacturer of electromagnetic wires alternative to foreign manufacturers; the company carried out 21 process optimization projects and included process improvement projects into strategic essentials each year; it also launched 79 technological transformations and has been awarded as Xiangtan’s Demonstration Workshop for Intelligent Manufacturing and Hunan’s Demonstration Workshop for Intelligent Manufacturing.
 
Success starts with dreams and is achieved with concentration. Over the years, Chen Haibing has always adhered to the concept of “Good Materials! Good Wires!” led Gold Cup to bravely scale new heights of technology and contributed greatly to the grand goal of “building a leading electromagnetic wires enterprise in China”. Empowered by innovation, Gold Cup has achieved growth in sales, profit and tax over the past three years despite unfavorable economic environment in recent years. In 2019, the company has realized an output value of 1.25 billion yuan, a profit and tax of 72 million yuan, and it is expected to achieve a total output value of 1.45 billion yuan and a profit and a profit and tax of nearly 90 million yuan, making a positive contribution to the economic development of Xiangtan City of central China’s Hunan Province.


The system of three inspections, namely self-inspection, mutual-inspection, and special-inspection is a production system that Gold Cup Electromagnetic Wires Co., Ltd. has strictly implemented. Among them, self-inspection is placed in the most important position. Every operator of the company is an “inspector” who ensures that the process products he/she handles are free of quality problems, and no quality risks he/she is supposed to identify go to the next process.
